Once you are feeling stable and have overcome your withdrawal symptoms, you will be ready to begin your alcohol or drug rehab program.
How Long Is Rehab?
Patients that participate in an inpatient rehab program will be invited to participate in a 30-, 60-, or 90-day rehab stay. The time that you spend within our recovery center will be based on the levels of care that you require to address your drug or alcohol addiction and the underlying emotions and traumas associated with it. After completing an inpatient rehab program or for those patients that are unable to commit to entering into a residential treatment program due to work, school, or family obligations, there are outpatient treatment programs available including intensive outpatient program or partial hospitalization program that will allow you the time you need to attend the recovery center for addiction therapy while also providing the flexibility to return home each night to maintain your prior commitments.
30 Day (short term rehab)
Patients that engage in a 30 day short term rehab program will have the ability to take a brief break from their home environment to kick start the new change you want to see towards a life of sober living. It is often recommended that patients who complete a 30 day rehab program to continue with aftercare programming including outpatient rehab or residing within a sober living home to allow patients to have ongoing support as you enter into your early addiction recovery program.
Long Term Rehab (60-90 Days)
Choosing a long term rehab program is ideal and encouraged for those Bucks County residents that are able to take the time away from their home environment and prior responsibilities of work, school, and family. Allowing yourself a long period of time to engage in healing processes of addiction treatment will provide you with opportunities to take a deep dive into your emotions and traumas of your past that have influenced your addictive behaviors. Patients will have a longer period of time to take what they have learned from inpatient rehab and begin to put it into action within the safe environment of residential treatment. Patients will gain an understanding of the underlying causes for your drug or alcohol addiction while learning the tools to overcome triggers in the future and, at the same, identify and learn best coping strategies to manage your mental health disorders through holistic treatments and practices that will support a balanced, healthy life in addiction recovery.

EMDR consists of patients listening to tapping sounds or tones that will engage in your brain to a dual awareness allowing your brain to focus on two things at once. As you focus on the sounds and tapping, you will be able safely address the traumatic memory and begin to rewrite the memory to one that is less intrusive and debilitating so that you can proceed with day to day life free of traumatic responses.
