Alumni Testimonials

Daybreak changed my life. The staff – from the nurses, therapists, managers, and most importantly – the on-site techs, were all extremely helpful in our recovery. Everything you need is available from detox all the way through residential treatment. (I did not participate in any further treatment options). If you or someone you love really wants the help, this is a great place to find it. This is definitely something that you take out what you put in, and if you participate in the groups, the therapy, and take advantage of the help that they willingly offer – you can make change here. Thanks to the Daybreak family, I am 101 days into a powerful new life.

Daybreak has been extremely beneficial in my recovery process. The staff, many of whom are in recovery themselves, have shown me repeatedly that they genuinely care about me and all the other clients here. This fact, combined with their knowledge on the recovery process, has benefited me more than any other treatment center in the past. My counselor, Holly, has been especially helpful to me. I would absolutely recommend Daybreak to a friend or anyone struggling with addiction.

I cannot say enough about this place! Daybreak saved my life! From the minute I walked in the door I was treated with respect, dignity, and a compassion I had never experienced in any of the many other treatment facilities I had been to. What made the difference for me was the staff. The people who worked there truly cared about me and my recovery. There honestly was never a moment that I felt alone and the fact that many of the staff are in recovery themselves meant they truly understood what I was going through at my most vulnerable. Knowing these people were so invested in saving me from myself, were always there if I needed to talk, and that they honestly cared about me and my recovery undoubtedly made all the difference for me. Daybreak also maintains a family atmosphere in such beautiful facilities and makes sure that your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs are being met. I’ve never had such an amazing experience in treatment before. If you or a loved one is suffering please PLEASE let Daybreak give you the opportunity to get your life back.

Drug Rehab That Allows You to Still Go to Work and School

Addiction treatment centers like DayBreak offer many different types of treatment and levels of care as part of an overall drug rehab program.  An outpatient treatment center can often offer almost all of the same treatment options as an inpatient drug rehab program, just in a non-residential setting. Our treatment facility is home to an outstanding staff of highly trained drug and alcohol counselors, therapists, and medical professionals. We offer drug detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient programs, specialized services like Intensive Outpatient treatment and Partial Hospitalization plans, sober living coordination, and treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. Our goal is to offer the services necessary to help as many people as possible successfully begin their addiction recovery.  Call us today if you’d like to hear more about the treatment programs we have available for you in the Allentown PA area.

An outpatient drug rehab program can be very flexible and customizable in order to work for the most people possible. Drug rehab or alcohol rehab at outpatient centers near Allentown Pennsylvania allow you to continue to go to work and school while attending counseling and therapy sessions. Outpatient drug rehabs provide quality of life for people who are trying to make a positive change while still taking care of their responsibilities. Having to quit a job or going to school to take part in an inpatient drug rehab program is often too much for a person to take on and is a popular reason for why people do not seek treatment at all.  Outpatient programs for drug addiction can be the perfect middle ground when it comes to keeping life in balance.

Benefits of Outpatient Drug Rehab

Outpatient drug rehab in Allentown can be an individual’s first step in recovery or can be part of a comprehensive treatment plan that involves one of the available detox programs, inpatient rehab, and aftercare support. Outpatient care is very flexible and can be tailored to almost anyone’s rehab therapy needs. Inpatient drug rehab can be beneficial for a lot of people struggling with addiction but is often just not a good fit for a person’s situation.  Outpatient rehab for drug or alcohol abuse can include both individual therapy and group sessions, depending on the specific treatment plan.  If someone has taken part in drug detox, residential rehab, and any other types of treatment, outpatient rehab can reinforce all of the life skills, coping skills, relapse prevention planning, and behavioral health items that were covered.

What to Expect During Outpatient Rehab

While inpatient drug rehab has some typical lengths of time associated with it, outpatient rehab occurs on a less structured timetable.  That being said, there are still practices and protocols that are followed in both environments. Before you outpatient treatment for substance use disorders, you will have a full medical and psychological assessment if you did not already go through this process as part of our detox programs or inpatient drug rehab.  This workup is done so that no matter which of the levels of care you are taking part in, we know your history and what issues we have to address as part of your drug addiction treatment. During residential treatment some needs like proper diet and hydration, as well as rest and exercise are actively promoted, and during outpatient care we are concerned with those issues, too.  Outpatient programs can help a lot of people get back on track and it’s important to look at all of the ways drugs or alcohol have affected a person in order to do that properly.

How Long Does Outpatient Rehab Allentown Last with DayBreak?

One of the most important factors to remember about drug and alcohol treatment is that finishing is not the goal.  The goal is to be properly prepared for a sober living lifestyle going forward.  What this means is time is not a factor; progression in substance abuse treatment and reaching physical, emotional, and mental milestones is what’s important. Alcohol and drug rehab in an outpatient setting can thus last as long as necessary for a person to feel comfortable in their day to day life without regular therapy sessions.

IOP Intensive Outpatient Program

An Intensive Outpatient Program is an option for our clients who need more therapy time that is usually associated with typical outpatient treatment.  An IOP can be used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan in between inpatient drug rehab and outpatient drug rehab. Intensive Outpatient treatment typically lasts from eighth to 12 weeks.  It is a flexible rehab program.  Therapists and their clients determine how many days each week and how many hours each day they will take part in an IOP.  Usually a patient takes part in sessions two to five days a week for multiple hours each day and returns to their home or a sober living facility each evening.

PHP Partial Hospitalization Program

A Partial Hospitalization Program is in some respects the big brother or big sister to the IOP.  Sometimes referred to as a day program, patients can attend sessions up to seven days a week and several hours each day.  There is flexibility and a person still returns to their own home or a sober living house each night. An IOP or PHP can be used to bridge between other levels of care.  They can also be employed when a behavioral health therapist is not seeing the progress they would like during the typical amount of sessions during outpatient treatment programs.

Which Outpatient Treatment, IOP or PHP, Is Right for Me

At DayBreak, our outpatient treatment is customized for each of our clients.  When you speak to one of our counselors we will go over your specific needs and assess which program is best for you.  We also frequently review each of our patient’s progress and make changes to the types of treatment they are receiving as needed.

Why Choose DayBreak?

At DayBreak our holistic treatment approaches take in the negative impact drugs or alcohol have had on a person’s mind, body, and spirit and work with them so that they heal in all areas.  If you’d like to hear more about the types of treatment we offer, call us today.
