Drug Rehab That Allows You to Still Go to Work and School
Outpatient therapy provides flexible treatment options for people who are transitioning from an intensive inpatient program or are stable enough to begin their recovery process with an outpatient program. DayBreak features various program options designed to meet clients’ different needs.
Outpatient rehab is ideal for people who want to work, attend school, or continue to maintain their family responsibilities while still getting the treatment they need to overcome their drug addiction. Outpatient programs are best for people who are stable and committed to their recovery journey. Is outpatient treatment ideal for you? When you visit DayBreak, we can help you determine what treatment course is best for your needs.
Benefits of Outpatient Drug Rehab
Flexibility is a key benefit of outpatient drug rehab programs. DayBreak features intensive outpatient programs as well as regular outpatient therapy. Intensive programs feature more treatment sessions each week than a regular outpatient program. This means that you can choose a program that meets your support needs.
Outpatient addiction treatment is ideal for clients who want to sleep at home. They may have a supportive home life and don’t want to reside for several weeks or months in a rehab center. Being able to attend treatment and return to their home, work, or school setting is a priority for many clients who are ready to focus on rebuilding their lives as well as managing their recovery.
What to Expect During Outpatient Rehab
When you enter DayBreak for outpatient rehab, you can expect to enjoy customized treatment. You’ll meet individually with a therapist to work through issues that are specific to your life and addiction experience. During treatment sessions, you’ll try to identify why you abused drugs. The reasons you did so are your ‘triggers.’ Once you understand your triggers, you can work with your therapist to develop effective ways for coping with them.
Outpatient rehab also features peer group therapy and 12-step programming. Together, all of these therapies support lasting recovery. Depending on your circumstances, you may also want to focus on family therapy or therapy that addresses your dual diagnosis or other issues that have impacted your addiction.
How Long Does Outpatient Rehab in Philadelphia Last with DayBreak?
Outpatient treatment programs vary in accordance with clients’ needs. At DayBreak, we offer 30, 60, and even 90-day treatment programs. Treatment at our Philadelphia rehab is flexible. Many clients will transition from inpatient programs to outpatient programs as they grow in stability and their support needs change. Clients can get the amount of treatment they need when they enroll at our Philadelphia addiction treatment center.
IOP Intensive Outpatient Program
Intensive outpatient (IOP) involves meeting at our Philadelphia rehab for roughly 3-5 times per week. IOP is ideal for clients who do not need the additional support associated with a partial hospitalization or inpatient treatment program. However, this type of outpatient program still offers a robust level of support as compared to a more traditional outpatient format that may only require attendance at two to three treatment sessions each week. After completing IOP programming, clients may be ready to transition to regular outpatient treatment or even aftercare.
PHP Partial Hospitalization Program
Partial hospitalization (PHP) at DayBreak offers a more robust level of support than an IOP. Typically, PHP involves daylong treatment with breaks for rest. Instead of remaining at our rehab after treatment, clients can return to their homes. Clients who do not have supportive home environments or who feel too unstable to be on their own in the evenings may want to consider inpatient treatment instead.
Which Outpatient Treatment, IOP or PHP, Is Right for Me
When you visit DayBreak, we can help you decide what treatment program is right for you based on our professional evaluation of your condition. Again, many people begin treatment with inpatient therapy or PHP and then transition after a period of time to a less intensive program as they grow in stability and are better able to manage their addiction based on the coping strategies they’ve learned. No matter what program you choose, you can expect therapy that is tailored to your specific needs.
