Alumni Testimonials

Daybreak changed my life. The staff – from the nurses, therapists, managers, and most importantly – the on-site techs, were all extremely helpful in our recovery. Everything you need is available from detox all the way through residential treatment. (I did not participate in any further treatment options). If you or someone you love really wants the help, this is a great place to find it. This is definitely something that you take out what you put in, and if you participate in the groups, the therapy, and take advantage of the help that they willingly offer – you can make change here. Thanks to the Daybreak family, I am 101 days into a powerful new life.

Daybreak has been extremely beneficial in my recovery process. The staff, many of whom are in recovery themselves, have shown me repeatedly that they genuinely care about me and all the other clients here. This fact, combined with their knowledge on the recovery process, has benefited me more than any other treatment center in the past. My counselor, Holly, has been especially helpful to me. I would absolutely recommend Daybreak to a friend or anyone struggling with addiction.

Kyle M.

I cannot say enough about this place! Daybreak saved my life! From the minute I walked in the door I was treated with respect, dignity, and a compassion I had never experienced in any of the many other treatment facilities I had been to. What made the difference for me was the staff. The people who worked there truly cared about me and my recovery. There honestly was never a moment that I felt alone and the fact that many of the staff are in recovery themselves meant they truly understood what I was going through at my most vulnerable. Knowing these people were so invested in saving me from myself, were always there if I needed to talk, and that they honestly cared about me and my recovery undoubtedly made all the difference for me. Daybreak also maintains a family atmosphere in such beautiful facilities and makes sure that your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs are being met. I’ve never had such an amazing experience in treatment before. If you or a loved one is suffering please PLEASE let Daybreak give you the opportunity to get your life back.

Alcohol Rehab That Allows You To Still Go To Work & School

Residential treatment programs for drugs and alcohol can be very beneficial but they are often not the best fit for an individual in need of the best rehab center in Trenton.  Our outpatient alcohol rehab can be a great choice because it allows you to still go to work and school and take care of other life responsibilities while receiving substance abuse treatment.  One of the biggest roadblocks when it comes to people deciding on whether to take part in alcohol and drug rehab is being away from their family and other important parts of their lives.  Outpatient programs at DayBreak can be the option a person needs to take the important step of seeking substance abuse treatment.

Benefits of Outpatient Alcohol Rehab

There are many benefits to taking part in outpatient alcohol rehab.  First, it should be noted, outpatient substance abuse treatment can be the first phase of a person’s addiction recovery, or can be part of a continuum of care developed by our drug and alcohol abuse experts.  One benefit of outpatient alcohol rehab is the flexibility.  Not only can you still attend work and school, but you can attend outpatient treatment as many days as you need and at various times of the day that fits your schedule.  When you work with one of our.

What To Expect During Outpatient Rehab

If outpatient alcohol rehab is your first experience with substance abuse treatment, you will meet with your primary counselor to have a thorough interview that will determine the types of addiction therapies you need.  Some types of rehab therapy are only available in residential treatment programs, but there are many options that are part of outpatient care.  In some cases, we may also want you to meet with one of our physicians and mental health professionals to do a full physical and assessment.  This will also help us create the customized plan that will help you be successful in addiction recovery.  We will also review specialized programs with you like our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

How Long Does Outpatient Rehab Last With DayBreak?

One of the other great benefits of outpatient alcohol rehab is the flexibility it provides regarding how long each period of treatment is for our patients.  In essence, outpatient substance abuse treatment lasts as long as a client feels they need direct support in order to be successful in addiction recovery.  Once a person no longer needs scheduled addiction therapy sessions, they will always be a Day Break alumnus and are welcome to contact us at any time to meet or for any support suggestions.  We also recommend that during outpatient treatment and certainly afterwards that our clients take advantage of aftercare support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous.

IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program)

Intensive Outpatient Program are treatment programs used to address addictions, depression, eating disorders, or other dependencies such as alcohol use disorder.  This type of care can provide outpatient therapy almost on the level of residential treatment programs for clients who do not require around the clock care.  An IOP can include alcohol abuse therapy up to seven days a week with longer sessions than typical outpatient therapy.  An IOP still allows an individual to conduct their other day-to-day activities.

PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program)

A Partial Hospitalization Program is a step up from an IOP, wherein a patient takes part in substance abuse and/or mental health therapy several hours a day but still returns home each evening.  The exact amount of time each day and the number of days a week is flexible.  One of the goals of a Partial Hospitalization Program is to treat a patient and get them to their next level of care, like an IOP or more traditional outpatient rehab without full time hospitalization or a residential substance abuse treatment program. A PHP can be an excellent steppingstone in a person’s successful addiction recovery plan.

Which Outpatient Treatment, IOP or PHP Is Right for Me?

The silver lining of the growth and need for substance abuse treatment is that addiction recovery organizations like DayBreak have developed many outpatient and residential treatment programs for our clients.  Many people can actually benefit from a series of treatments, and may need all three options, beginning with a PHP then continuing with an IOP and then more traditional alcohol outpatient treatment.  A PHP is the right choice if you need a level of care close to that of residential treatment but being in an outpatient environment is a better fit.  An IOP is a good idea if regular outpatient treatment is not quite enough to meet your needs.

You should choose DayBreak because we are dedicated to providing our patients with an outstanding level of personal care.  No matter whether it is traditional outpatient alcohol rehab or a Partial Hospitalization Program or an Intensive Outpatient Program, our counselors will design a care plan for you that will help you achieve the success you want in addiction recovery.  Call us today with any questions about our outpatient alcohol rehab or any of our residential treatment programs.
