#1 Alcohol Rehab Program

About 14 million people in the U.S. are living with an alcohol use disorder. Although widely available, alcohol is also highly addictive. Many people don’t realize that they have a problem with alcohol abuse until they’ve developed a dependence. Alcohol addiction is every bit as complex as a drug addiction such as heroin addiction or meth addiction. It’s also associated with extremely high relapse rates because it’s governed by strong compulsions to drink–even though people are aware of the negative effects it has had on their lives.

Most people can’t stop drinking without professional treatment at an alcohol rehab. DayBreak features a comprehensive spectrum of drug and alcohol programs covering all levels of care, including alcohol detox, inpatient rehab, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment, sober living housing, and dual diagnosis treatment. DayBreak’s alcohol addiction treatment programs include medically supported alcohol treatment modalities and holistic therapies that enhance addiction recovery. We also feature alternative addiction therapies that complement our residential inpatient and outpatient treatments.

Some people make the mistake of thinking that they don’t need substance abuse treatment at a drug and alcohol rehab. Yet, substance abuse of drugs and alcohol is among the most leading causes of preventable deaths. Alcoholism like opioid addiction or cocaine addiction is a disease. As a chronic condition, it can’t be cured, but it can be managed. Drugs and alcohol addiction involves physical, psychological, and behavioral dependencies. Relapse rates are high because people with substance abuse disorders often ignore the need to treat each aspect of the disease. Medical detox, for example, only targets the physical dependence of addiction, which isn’t enough to support lasting recovery.

At DayBreak, we strive to educate our clients about the condition they have. We also tailor each treatment plan to suit clients’ unique needs. Not all clients will require the same level of care or addiction treatments. For instance, not all clients require medical detox or treatment for cooccurring disorders. After evaluating each client during our enrollment process, we’re able to recommend the ideal inpatient or outpatient programs and addiction therapies for their needs.

If you are suffering from an alcohol abuse disorder, the time to seek help at DayBreak Treatment Solutions is now. We treat clients who are addicted to alcohol, illicit drugs, and prescription drugs as well as clients who have a dual diagnosis. With high-quality treatment at DayBreak, you can experience addiction recovery to safeguard your mental and physical health.

Top Rated Alcohol Rehab

What makes a top-rated alcohol rehab? At DayBreak, we believe that the best alcohol treatment programs involve an empathetic group of clinicians, a combination of medically sanctioned and holistic addiction therapies, multiple levels of care, and a safe and comfortable rehab setting where clients can focus on their treatment and healing from their addiction. DayBreak has a reputation for our comprehensive treatment programs. Although not all clients will enroll in all of our programs, we feature a medical detox center where clients can detox with dignity.

We offer inpatient residential treatment programs that offer the most robust level of support with 24-hour monitoring. We also feature partial hospitalization PHP programs, intensive outpatient treatment, and sober living housing. During our enrollment process, we can recommend the ideal level of support to suit clients’ needs and preferences.

Regardless of the level of support that clients need, they can plan to attend individual counseling sessions and group therapy sessions. We offer multiple treatment modalities designed to target different aspects of alcohol addiction. During therapy, clients will address various topics related to addiction and its management. Since DayBreak features individualized addiction treatments, clients can get the help they need to manage their circumstances so that they can better manage their addiction after completing their treatment program.

DayBreak also features dual diagnosis treatment for clients that have a substance addiction and mental illness like depression or anxiety. Our doctors, nurse practitioners, and therapists are credentialed and have years of experience working in the field of addiction medicine and mental health care. Not all alcohol rehab centers offer dual diagnosis treatment. If you have cooccuring disorders, it’s crucial to obtain simultaneous treatment so that both conditions can be managed successfully.

What Is Alcohol Rehab Like?

Alcohol rehab is a process. Generally speaking, many people begin the recovery process in need of intensive support. They may feel overwhelmed and suffer from withdrawal symptoms. They may be struggling with relationship problems or career problems. Feeling unstable doesn’t feel good. That’s why DayBreak provides individualized levels of support so that we can help clients grow in stability right from the start.

Clients who enroll in our medical detox program can expect 24-hour monitoring. Alcohol detox can be unpleasant, which is why our clinicians offer medications designed to reduce withdrawal symptoms and prevent them from worsening. It’s never a good idea to detox alone. Alcohol withdrawal can cause a health emergency known as delirium tremens. People who get the DTs may become dehydrated, experience chills and fever, and even suffer from hallucinations and seizures. Our doctors will treat withdrawal symptoms so that they don’t lead to health emergencies.

Usually, withdrawal symptoms peak between 24 and 72 hours from a client’s last drink of alcohol. After about a week, clients will complete the detox process and may begin the next phase of their treatment plan. Treatment plans, again, are individualized. Clients will attend individual counseling as well as group therapies. Treatments include evidence-based treatments and holistic therapies. Treatments take place in our safe rehab center that’s designed with luxury and comfort in mind.

DayBreak’s alcohol rehab center provides clients with many amenities that can enhance their recovery journey. For instance, we feature massage therapy, which can be immensely therapeutic during both detox and rehab programs. We feature a holistic spa where clients can relax and discover new holistic therapies and activities that can help them manage their stress. Stress management is important as stress is a major trigger for drinking. DayBreak also features salon services for clients and comfortable public areas.

Rooms at DayBreak are semi-private. There are no more than two clients per room. Clients enrolled in residential treatment will be able to relax in their room between treatment sessions and after a long day of treatment. Rooms include flat-screen televisions and comfortable furnishings.

What to Expect During Rehab?

When clients enter DayBreak for substance abuse disorder treatment, they can expect to be treated with respect and empathetic care. Our clinicians know what a long and taxing journey clients often experienced before walking through the doors of our alcohol rehab center. We want them to know that they have arrived at a place of safety and help. Our care team will provide the support that clients need to progress through their treatment programs and learn how to safeguard their sobriety for good.

The doctors and therapists who facilitate DayBreak’s alcohol and drug abuse treatment programs have the professional training needed to provide the medical support clients need to achieve recovery. During therapy sessions, they help clients to understand how they became addicted to alcohol. That’s not quite as simple as it seems. People have complex and complicated thoughts and behaviors that can forge a path to addiction. These thoughts and behaviors can become ingrained–second-nature–which makes them quite difficult to change.

However, during treatment, therapists will help clients to change the way they respond and manage their triggers in order to prevent relapses from occurring. There are many different strategies and methods for managing triggers. Some people turn to activities that promote mindfulness like restorative yoga or physical fitness activities. Others choose to attend 12 step programs so that they can get ongoing support after completing their alcohol treatment program.

Our clinicians help clients find effective ways for managing their unique triggers. They will learn how negative emotions like fear and anger can cause relapse. They’ll learn how to remove themselves from unhealthy situations that could compromise their recovery. They’ll also learn about the condition they suffer from–how it changes the chemistry of the brain and affects their bodies. DayBreak provides clients with the understanding and tools they need to keep their recovery journey on track.

Clients who enroll at DayBreak for alcohol rehab can expect a streamlined onboarding process. We need to perform a health evaluation to ensure that we treat each client as needed. A proper evaluation allows us to recommend the right types of treatment for each person. Once clients begin their recovery journey, they can expect us to support them throughout with high-quality treatment designed to target each aspect of their addiction.

How Long Is Alcohol Rehab?

The addiction recovery process takes time, but how much time depends on many different factors. For example, clients who are enrolled in medically supervised detox can expect to complete the process in anywhere from three to seven days, but some clients may need longer. Other clients may not require the detox process. A person’s chemistry and the length of time they’ve been addicted to alcohol can impact the detox process. At DayBreak, we have the ability to accommodate each client’s needs.

Rehab drug or alcohol treatment programs also vary in time frame. Again, much depends on the client in question. Some clients require residential inpatient treatment for a period of time. Often, clients spend 30 days or longer in residential treatment, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes clients seek out DayBreak for our intensive outpatient treatment. Again, they may spend 30 days or even longer in this type of treatment.

Treatment times vary for clients because, like any health condition, some people need more support than others. There are many factors that can also affect the treatment time frame. If someone is diagnosed with cooccuring disorders, they may require more time in addiction rehab because they’re getting simultaneous treatments, and it often takes longer to manage two serious conditions that can impact one another. A person who has multiple addictions or who has been addicted for a long period of time may also need to spend more time learning to manage their addiction in rehab.

Many of DayBreak’s clients transition from inpatient treatment to outpatient treatments. The time they spend at our rehab alcohol abuse treatment might extend for several months, but that provides them with a strong foundation to build their long-term recovery. Medical studies have shown time and again that the longer someone spends in drug and alcohol rehab, the less likely they’ll be to suffer a relapse.

At DayBreak, we provide clients with the level of support they need to effectively manage their addiction. It takes some people longer to reach their treatment milestones. That’s perfectly normal. Each person brings different circumstances with them to our alcohol recovery center. Some people have supportive homes; others do not. Some people arrive with a high degree of stability and are eager to end their dependence on alcohol; others are less stable and feel overwhelmed by the process. That’s why we offer support that can be individualized for each client. We can meet you wherever you are on your recovery journey.

30 Day Rehab

For most, 30 days is the minimum amount of time it takes to learn to successfully manage an alcohol or drug addiction. Most addiction treatment programs start at 30 days but may extend to 60 or even 90 days. Medically supervised detox may or may not be part of a client’s 30-day treatment program. The detox process usually takes a week to complete, but during that time, clients don’t usually begin other therapies. That’s because detox is invariably accompanied by withdrawal symptoms, which make it difficult for clients to focus on treatment.

Once clients complete medical detox, they can begin their 30 day alcohol rehab treatment program either on an inpatient or outpatient basis as needed. As treatment progresses, they have the option to extend their time in their treatment program or transition to a different program. For example, it’s not uncommon for clients enrolled in residential treatment to transition after 30 days to one of our outpatient programs. Each rehab program at DayBreak offers a different level of treatment. As clients become more stable and find it easier to manage their addiction, they may move on to a less intensive treatment program.

Drug and alcohol addictions do not follow precise recovery courses. That’s why the best alcohol and drug addiction treatment programs are individualized to suit each person’s unique needs. Clients enrolled at DayBreak can include many different types of treatments in their individual treatment plan. We offer medically sanctioned treatments, alternative treatments, and holistic therapies. Each therapy targets a different aspect of the addiction. DayBreak Treatment Solutions features a wide array of treatment modalities. Some of these include:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Gender-specific therapy
  • Rational emotive behavioral therapy
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • Trauma-focused therapy
  • Relapse prevention planning
  • Music therapy
  • Didactic therapy
  • 12 step facilitation
  • Family therapy
  • SMART Recovery
  • Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Peer group counseling
  • One-on-one therapy and more

During our addiction treatment programs, we also offer holistic therapy to complement our medically sanctioned treatments. As clients progress through the treatments, they will become more skilled at managing the triggers that led them to abuse alcohol or drugs. With their therapists, they will be able to develop the strategies they’ll need to manage these triggers for the long term and guard against relapse.

Not every client will experience all of our treatments; that’s part of our focus on individual therapy. Some clients respond better to some therapies than others. Not all clients want to take part in family therapy, for instance. Not every client needs medication assisted treatment. Clients can expect to take part in the treatments that are ideal for their needs.

60 Day Rehab

Many clients extend their 30 days in drugs and alcohol treatment to 60 days. Some clients require a period of treatment time in a residential program while others may find that outpatient programs provide the level of support they need. As treatment progresses, therapists help clients to prepare for transitioning back to their everyday lives. Like DayBreak, many addiction treatment centers feature a comfortable, safe place where clients can immerse themselves in their therapy sessions. But outside of alcohol rehab centers, that’s where the stress and other triggers are.

Many clients extend their treatment so that they can get the professional support they need as they transition back to their lives and try to cope with their triggers while rebuilding their lives. By attending intensive outpatient therapy sessions or living for a period of time at a sober living facility, clients can practice the addiction management strategies they learned in therapy but still be able to return to therapy for continued support as they contend with issues and challenges related to their lives.

For many, 60 days in treatment is an ideal period of time to prevent relapses. However, many clients continue beyond the 60-day mark if needed. After transitioning from residential treatment programs to partial hospitalization php programs to outpatient treatments, clients can spend anywhere from 30 to 90 days as a client at DayBreak–or even longer. Many clients have struggled with alcohol for years. Overcoming their alcohol abuse problem in a couple months is often asking much. That’s why ongoing support can be the key to prevent relapses.

Clients who choose to attend therapy sessions at DayBreak for 60 days will meet each day or week at our rehab depending on the level of support they choose. Inpatient clients and those in partial hospitalization programs can expect to meet daily with clinicians. Clients enrolled in outpatient programs can expect to meet with their therapists less frequently, but on a weekly basis. There is more flexibility in outpatient treatment, which is ideal for clients who need less support.

When enrolled in treatment programs at DayBreak, clients will experience one-on-one treatment sessions to focus on their individual goals and in group sessions. During group therapy, clients are asked to participate and also to support their peers who are also struggling with alcohol or drug addiction. After completing a 60 day alcohol abuse treatment program, clients may wish to extend their therapy or to transition to a less intensive program. Clients who are ready to leave DayBreak may get support for finding 12 steps to recovery programs in their community as aftercare support.

90 Day Rehab

Some people who have been addicted to alcohol or drugs for a long period of time may find that a longer treatment course is best for them. Long-term treatment provides clients with a robust level of support that helps them to make the changes they need to support lasting recovery. It’s important for clients to remember that the recovery process doesn’t stop when they leave DayBreak. Addiction is a chronic disease, so clients must manage it effectively going forward in order to prevent relapse. The more support they have at the beginning of their recovery journey, the stronger foundation they may be able to build for their sober life.

During alcohol addiction therapy, clients will unravel what about their lives and thought patterns led to their abuse of alcohol. What made them want to drink? Clients have many triggers that led them to abuse alcohol or drugs. Some people turned to alcohol to escape their negative emotions. Others found that alcohol helped them to cope with stress. The thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that led to their alcohol abuse must be challenged and, ultimately, controlled in order to prevent relapse.

It takes time to identify unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors and to change them. This is why many clients opt to spend several months in addiction treatment. Therapists work with them in individual counseling session times as well as in group therapy to develop strategies for managing their triggers and changing the way they think, feel, and respond to those triggers. As mentioned earlier, a substance use disorder isn’t just about a physical dependency. A person with an alcohol addiction or adderall addiction also has mental and behavioral dependencies too. It’s these that must be addressed in rehab in order to safeguard recovery.

DayBreak’s treatment facility also features dual diagnosis treatment. Not all alcohol and drug rehabs are staffed to provide mental health treatment for cooccurring disorders, but DayBreak is. Cooccurring disorders means that the individual has a substance addiction like alcohol addiction as well as a mental health disorder such as depression, anxiety, or post traumatic stress disorder. About one-third of people with a substance addiction also have a mental health condition. It’s important that both conditions get simultaneous treatment. These clients may require a longer time in treatment than someone without a dual diagnosis.

As your treatment program nears its end, we’ll help you plan for aftercare support. Ongoing recovery maintenance is important. Some clients choose to attend 12 step programs. Others prefer to meet with a therapist for ongoing counseling. Others continue to attend yoga sessions or music therapy. With continued support, clients may find it easier to maintain their recovery.
